The Great Transition

Humanity’s Rite of Passage

Our world is in a great transition. Systems and ideas that have sustained us for centuries rapidly dissolve while new ones emerge. Humans and all life on Earth are navigating the chaos of profound change.

Humans are being called to re-examine our fundamental assumptions about who and what we have been and move toward a larger understanding of our capabilities and potential. We need to change our idea of who, how, and what we want to be in relationship with our finite, living planet.

Survival of the fittest, where we compete for dominance over each other, has been our self-identity for millenia. But it represents only one stage of evolution. The second and third stages of evolution recognize that mature ecosystems thrive only through diversity and collaboration. This new understanding of advanced evolution, coupled with the damage we are experiencing from our old assumptions, compels us to undergo an initiation seeking a new vision of how we and our planet can flourish together.

As we become aware of ourselves as an interconnected species with a global impact, we recognize that all our actions up to this point have led to this moment of awakened responsibility. Though our world is in transition, we have the power to shape what emerges next. As the past dissolves behind us, our choice is to learn how to navigate the waves of constant transformation. There is no normal to return to. We stand at a juncture where we must transform our minds, our ways of being, and our relationships with each other and Earth to thrive. It is time to awaken to the larger patterns at play and participate consciously in creating regenerative outcomes.
