The Bhakti Fest

FestivalNonprofit/Charity
Creating transformative spiritual and music festivals rooted in Bhakti (devotional love), bringing together renowned teachers, musicians, and healers through flagship events that celebrate Kirtan, yoga, and conscious living while practicing Seva through support of charitable organizations serving communities worldwide.

The Bhakti Fest Group is an organization dedicated to creating and hosting transformative spiritual and music festivals, retreats, and experiences rooted in the philosophy of Bhakti, or devotional love. Founded in 2009 with the intention of gathering a community together to celebrate the devotional paths of Kirtan, yoga, and wellness, this family-run business has welcomed people of all backgrounds to over 25 festivals, 15+ retreats and journeys to India, and countless other gatherings of like-minded individuals through its flagship events, Bhakti Fest and Shakti Fest. Operated and owned by Center for Spiritual Studies, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Bhakti Fest creates transformational experiences that inspire individuals to explore and deepen their spiritual journey through a vibrant, inclusive, and sacred space for people from all walks of life to connect through the power of music, yoga, meditation, and conscious living. Driven by core values of love, unity, and spiritual growth, the organization provides a platform for renowned spiritual teachers, musicians, and healers to share their wisdom and talents, empowering attendees to unlock their true potential and embark on a path of self-discovery and inner fulfillment. Through festivals, workshops, and events, Bhakti Fest cultivates an atmosphere of harmony where participants explore various spiritual traditions, engage in heartfelt dialogue, and forge meaningful connections that transcend boundaries, creating deep community that celebrates diversity and honors universal principles of compassion, peace, and service. Committed to minimizing ecological footprint and promoting sustainable practices, the organization also practices Seva (selfless service) by supporting charitable organizations including the Love Serve Remember Foundation, Seva Foundation, Share Your Care, Ramana’s Garden, and Food for Life Vrindavan.

Why it matters: Bhakti Fest demonstrates that spiritual exploration and community building can flourish through the transformative power of devotional music, creating inclusive sacred spaces where people from all backgrounds gather to deepen their spiritual practices without requiring adherence to a single tradition. By bringing together renowned spiritual teachers, musicians, and healers on platforms celebrating Kirtan, yoga, and conscious living, the organization proves that festivals can serve as containers for authentic spiritual transformation rather than mere entertainment, empowering attendees to unlock their true potential through the universal language of devotion and music. The organization’s commitment to Seva—selfless service—extends its impact beyond festival grounds through partnerships with organizations serving communities in India and worldwide, embodying the principle that spiritual growth and service to others are inseparable. As a family-run nonprofit celebrating diversity while honoring the ancient philosophy of Bhakti, the group creates experiences where unity and spiritual connection transcend boundaries, offering a model for how gatherings can foster both personal inner fulfillment and collective compassion.
