The ManKind Project (MKP) is a passionate and purpose-driven brotherhood building and supporting the emotionally mature, accountable, and compassionate male role models that communities desperately need. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating in 14 global regions, MKP is non-religious and inclusive—welcoming men of all backgrounds, orientations, ages, abilities, faiths, and no faith. The flagship New Warrior Training Adventure is described by many as the most powerful men’s training available, frequently recommended by licensed mental health professionals as a successful peer-support intervention or adjunct to traditional therapy. MKP supports a global network of over 1,000 peer-facilitated men’s groups serving close to 10,000 men each week, where men mentor men through the passages of their lives. With a 40-year history of transformative experiences, MKP’s mission is to create a world where men act on their individual and collective responsibility for the future of humanity.
Why it matters: Emotionally mature, accountable, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal society’s deepest wounds—and today, the stakes are higher than ever. By helping men through any transition and challenge while empowering them to missions of service, MKP addresses the widespread need for healthy masculinity that many men were never taught. The combination of initiatory training and ongoing peer-facilitated community creates sustained support for emotional maturity and spiritual awareness rather than one-time experiences, with 10,000 men gathering weekly in groups where they can be authentic, accountable, and supported by other men on the same path.
